Adult Counselling Clinical Lead
Based in Croydon, the Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Centre (RASASC) is a specialist sexual violence centre providing an exceptional standard of therapeutic support for women and girls who have experienced rape and/or childhood sexual abuse. We are the Rape Crisis Centre for South London and are a multi-cultural workforce that serves women from all backgrounds, religions and circumstances, providing services to survivors of sexual violence for over 35 years.
We are seeking a Clinical Lead who will manage the delivery of and hold clinical responsibility for our large, busy adult counselling service. The successful candidate will hold a counselling qualification, a clinical supervision qualification and will have at least 5 years post-qualification experience of working with women affected by rape and sexual abuse. She will also hold a BACP accreditation. She will have experience of recruitment, induction, training and line management. She will have a depth of knowledge, understanding and experience of trauma-informed therapeutic support, safeguarding and possess good all-round IT skills.
She will be a skilled and experienced manager, who demonstrates a commitment to feminist principles and has experience of putting these into practice. She will also be part of the Rape Crisis South London Management Team which has operational responsibility for the day-to-day management of Rape Crisis South London and its services, in order to meet the aims and objectives of the charity.

- 4-5 days per week Salary
- £42-45K full-time
- Annual leave is 27 days a year plus 8 bank holidays plus the days between Christmas and New Year.
- NEST pension scheme; 3% employer contribution and 5% employee contribution
- There will be a 6-month probation period for this role
