September 2022
We are delighted to offer this exciting opportunity for a well-motivated, ambitious and dynamic teacher of Physical Education and Games to join our school from September 2022.
This post would be ideal for someone who is passionate and enthusiastic about sport and is looking for experience working in a stimulating and rewarding environment. The appointed teacher will promote a love of learning and stimulate intellectual curiosity through inspirational teaching, guidance and an ability to inspire students to excel on and off the sports field.
The successful candidate will be an outstanding teacher of Physical Education & Games, who is able to deliver an excellent standard of teaching across the whole school. This is a key appointment and one that presents a great opportunity to join an innovative, forward thinking and thriving sports department.
Applications are welcome from both experienced and newly qualified teachers (ECTs). Regardless of experience the appointed teacher will promote a love of learning and stimulate intellectual curiosity through inspirational teaching, guidance and an ability to inspire students to excel. We achieve excellent results in GCSE and A level examinations and are delighted that many students subsequently elect to study the subject at university.
The successful candidate will;
join a highly successful department with excellent results
teach very able students, many of whom go on to A-level
teach Physical Education and Games throughout the whole school (including GCSE and A-level)
teach small classes of 14-20 students
Ability to teach swimming (desirable)
