Description
Could you use your operations know-how and database skills to help prevent breast cancer?
We're looking for an Operations and Database Manager to join a small, but mighty fundraising team funding life-saving research.
Offering a grown-up and flexible working culture that includes potential for homeworking, you'll work to strengthen the existing team and to help lead the organisation in a period of change and growth through improved processes and effective data management.
Salary: £36,000 to £41,000, able to appoint across the band
Annual leave: 33 days including Bank Holidays
Location: Hybrid working, ideally 3 office days per week
About the role:
You'll create and implement processes to ensure the right level of data is being captured in the right way, at the right time from numerous different sources (both digitally and offline).
Taking overall responsibility for the fundraising database, you'll lead on the development of best practice processes for capturing and storing supporter information in the database.
You'll be a supportive, encouraging and empowering manager to staff across a range of disciplines and skillsets.
About the person:
- You've got extensive experience working with databases to support income generation, sales or marketing.
- Demonstrable skills and a passion for improving operation processes.
- Ability to lead, motivate and galvanize a small team working across multiple functions.
- Engage effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, translating complex concepts and training colleagues.
- Strong relationship-builder, able to connect with key stakeholders across the organisation and engage them in the data process.
Experience of Blackbaud RE or NXT or other charity databases would be highly beneficial e.g. Donorfy, Salesforce or Beacon - although not essential, as we'd expect a database specialist to be able to pick up and run quickly.
If you're used to operating in fast-paced work environment, and keen to be part of a creative, friendly and dedicated team, then we want to hear from you!
