Description
This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join a happy and supportive team and to help create an exceptional learning experience for pupils within the school. This is a full time, permanent vacancy for QTS qualified Teachers. Applicants should be available from September 2022. The school are paying Main Pay Scale and Upper Pay Scale, dependent on experience, plus SEN allowances.
The school is a non-maintained, co-educational school for young people with special educational needs between the ages of 7 and 19 years. Students have a range of complex learning difficulties. They adopt a bespoke, inclusive approach to education, involving parents, governors, the local community and the wider community to form an educational community that is both holistic and formal. They have a highly skilled and deeply committed team which values every individual young person for who they are, encourages their progress, celebrates their achievements and inspires confidence in their futures.
The successful applicant will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons in all areas of the curriculum, and provide personalised activities to meet the needs of pupils within the class. The Head teacher is looking for a SEND Teacher who will create a positive and safe learning environment to nurture pupils' development. The SEND Teacher should aim to provide pupils with the best possible opportunities to succeed with future goals and aspirations in all areas of their life including social, emotional, physical and communication.
