Team Coordinator

The Organisation is one of the largest learning disability charities in the UK, supporting over 2,500 people through our friendly, supportive, creative and diverse teams. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Day Service Management Team.

The Team Coordinator post is an exciting new role . You’ll be leading a team of support workers to support adults with learning disabilities to have the best day possible. With a 70/30 split between hands on support and off roster management time, you will be a role model to others through demonstrating excellent support and you will help the Cluster Manager to coach, support and manage people effectively. You will be responsible for nurturing and inspiring those coming to work for the organisation ensuring they have the best teams offering great support services. As well as making sure the people they support are safe and have a range of opportunities that bring colour to the day.

This role also offers great opportunities for career progression to help you develop your knowledge and skills. They are recruiting a Team Coordinators to work in Hwb Cyfle our purpose built day centre in Queensferry. We provide support to up to 50 adults a day with moderate to profound and multiple learning disabilities.

Salary: £24,982 pa

Hours: 37 hours per week. The hours are currently between 8.30 and 4.30, Monday to Friday. However, in the future we are looking to expand the provision to cover evenings and weekends.

Location: Hwb Cyfle, Queensferry, Flintshire

To be successful you will need you will need experience of managing and leading a team and experience of working with adults with learning disabilities, ideally in a day service environment. You need good IT skills and experience of maintaining records.

You also need to hold or be willing to work towards a Diploma in Health & Social Care Level 3 (or equivalent).

The passion for delivering high quality care and support services to people with learning disabilities and you want to make a difference to enable people to live a more fulfilling and independent life.
