- strong ICT skills. you will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software including Outlook, Word, Excel (essential) and Teams (desirable)

What you'll be doing
The Assistant Brand & Communications Manager reports to the Senior Brand & Communications Specialist. As one of two Assistant Brand & Communications Managers, you’ll play a pivotal role in bringing consistency, quality and vibrancy to YHA’s communications, enhancing the organisation’s image and increasing brand awareness.
You will work on email marketing campaigns; in-house publications and materials; web, social media and video assets; ad hoc projects such as wall displays and interpretation; point of sale display; digital advertising and more.
You will work closely with marketing, communications and digital colleagues to establish creative briefs and content requirements. From there you will develop copy and content and, with the support of the wider team, deliver top quality communications.
You will support the development and maintenance of brand standards to further enhance the brand’s image. And you will work with external agencies to uphold that image. You will also liaise with external printers and suppliers to help ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget.
The role is technically National Office based, through there is the option to adopt hybrid working with time split between home and office. We may also consider majority remote working but the successful candidate must be willing to travel to National Office and hostels around England and Wales occasionally.
We are YHA.

We operate hostels and activity centres throughout England and Wales and welcome all but specialise in creating opportunities for young people.
