A supportive and inclusive Primary School in the heart of Waltham Forest are looking to recruit a Class Teacher / Primary Teacher (KS2) ahead of September 2022, on a permanent basis. The Head Teacher has focused this role on experienced Class Teachers / Primary Teachers who are confident within the classroom, and are able to hit the ground running.

The Primary School has a variety of TLRs available but have stated that they would like to meet the Class Teacher / Primary Teacher first, before discussing TLRs. This way TLRs and teaching classes can be matched to your own personal strengths.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Class Teacher / Primary Teacher
• KS2
• Additional TLRs available: Subject Leads
• Delivering engaging lessons
• The ability to motivate and inspire young minds
• Working alongside a range of ‘Outstanding’ Class Teachers
• Outer London
• Full Time & Permanent contract
• September 2022 start
• MPS2 £31,604 – UPS3 £45,766 + TLR (size depending on experience)
• Located in the London Borough of Waltham Forest

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Must hold UK QTS
• Good academics across the board – GCSEs, A Levels & Degree
• Must have an excellent understanding of the 8 Teaching Standards
• Must be ambitious and seeking progression and career development
• Must be able to work well as a team of Primary Teachers
• Previous lesson observations would be desirable – Good or Outstanding
