Description
Simpler, smarter, better. Our IT operation is undergoing a £multi-million digital transformation journey. It’s a whole new chapter for our technology delivery portfolios, operations, architecture and strategic planning teams and we’re looking for an experienced IT Technology Director to help shape our vision, lead, motivate and inspire our teams.
In this role you will directly lead a team of 3 heads of department and have overall leadership for approximately 100 IT professionals, including technical engineering and operational teams. Your ability to communicate well, adapt your communication style and easily build relationships, will be key to creating strong networks both internally and externally, with stakeholders at every level.
We’re looking for someone who has extensive experience in implementing a wide range of strategic technology programmes and projects within complex organisations. Having a holistic view of the organisation and its technology requirements you’ll have responsibility for developing and delivering the Trust’s technology roadmap whilst aligning to business strategic priorities.
Keeping close to market trends and innovation you’ll ensure our offer remains current, balanced with making sure that the Trust is getting maximum value for charitable funds through technology convergence and reuse where appropriate. Being highly analytic and able to take complex information to translate it into compelling business plans you will have a good grasp of enterprise architecture and how that can be used to maximise business benefit.

- Strong presentational and inter-personal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels, working on a wide-range of challenges simultaneously, to demanding timescales
