Job overview
The No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF) Network, hosted by Islington Council, supports councils across the UK to prevent homelessness, alleviate child poverty, promote integration within local communities, and to operate cost-efficient services.
We are offering a unique opportunity for someone to build on their influencing, research, legal, and communication skills by maintaining and developing the NRPF Network’s written resources, including sector-endorsed practice guidance for local authorities, and providing expert advice to Network members and other stakeholders.
Main duties of the job
You must have a proven ability to interpret complex legislation and government policy, in order to identify relevant changes and convey these in writing to a wide range of audiences. You must be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, demonstrate a high level of sensitivity and judgment, and work independently with minimal supervision
The team are currently working from home but you must be willing and able to undertake national travel and meet any requirements to work in an office at the agreed job location (Islington, London or Ashton-Under-Lyne, Greater Manchester).

It will also be possible for this role to be based at Ashton-Under-Lyne, Greater Manchester, with a salary of £41,881 - £44,863 per annum
