Description

From September 2022

If you are passionate about Rugby and have ambitions for a future in sport, this position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your career working alongside a world-class coaching team in a school with some of the very best sports facilities in the country.

Our graduate programme aims to prepare you to be able to run your own sports programme and allow you to gain valuable experience for that next level position. You will work alongside our current Director of Rugby, Dr Andrew Hall, and Director of Sport, Nick De Luca. You will also be exposed to the latest evidence-informed coaching pedagogy, coach up to 16 hours a week and take charge of your own team. It will be a year of discovery and exploration as you find your own coaching and leadership philosophy.

Alongside your coaching responsibilities, you will be expected to play a full part in this seven-day-a-week boarding school. This will include involvement in the school’s exceptionally varied co-curricular programme, as well as being attached as a tutor to one of the school’s 15 boarding houses. There will also be an expectation to be involved in the operational running of the sports programme.
