Description

Networks Manager
London

Full time, permanent
Salary of £34,470 - £39,000 per annum

Our client is looking for a Networks Manager to play a critical role in helping them to meet their mission to partner with small and local charities to help more people overcome complex social issues and rebuild their lives. This is a new role and is key to delivering on our client’s new strategy.

The Networks Manager is responsible for participant-led networks across the our client’s organisation including online forums, ongoing face to face peer networks, or one-off intensive workshops. This role will bring together the different networks our client has created over the years to review, learn, improve and build on them. The Networks Manager will work closely with colleagues across our client’s organisation to devise a strategy for how they bring charities and partners together that aligns with their new organisational strategy.

They are currently devising a new three year strategy due to launch in 2022 so you will be joining our client during an exciting period and have the opportunity to help in the launch.

Our client is an independent charitable trust. They partner with small and local charities helping people overcome complex social issues such as mental health, homelessness and domestic abuse. Their size and understanding of the people and local communities they work with means they are able to make life-changing impact where others cannot. But these charities are under-funded, under pressure and too often ignored.

That’s why our client is more than just a funder – they work in partnership with the charities they fund and others who share their vision.

They listen, understand and respond to charities, funding core costs and providing developmental support for charities to grow stronger and become more sustainable. They influence policy and practice to help charities thrive in the future and to address the causes and consequences of complex social issues.

Our client encourages applications from all sections of our diverse community, irrespective of age, disability, sex, gender identity, pregnancy, maternity, race (which includes colour, nationality and ethnic or national origins), sexual orientation, religion or belief, or because someone is married or in a civil partnership. They want an inclusive organisation that reflects our community and where everyone feels empowered to bring their authentic selves to work. They believe their organisation will be a better, more creative and innovative place to work if they can harness the benefit of different perspectives.

Our client is committed to making their recruitment practices barrier-free and as inclusive as possible for everyone. This includes making adjustments or changes for people who have a disability or long-term health condition.

If you need any ‘reasonable adjustments’ for any part of the recruitment process please let them know, in confidence, to discuss these.
