SEN Teacher – All through SEN School

Clarus Education are working with a fantastic community school offering a unique environment for all SEN children. The School is located in the London Borough of Hackney and offers education to children from the age of 2 till 19.

The School offers specialist educational and therapeutic interventions for children, giving all children an education, health & care plan (EHCP) and providing programs designed to meet the specific needs of each child within the context of small class groupings.

As an SEN Teacher you’ll be expected to:

• Provide active and fun lesson plans for KS4 to KS5
• Provide positive reinforcements, praise and rewards to young adults with SEN.
• Modelling, within the class, support strategies designed to encourage and development.
• 1:1 Tuition – Literacy & Numeracy – within small groups
• Consulting with parents regarding student support matters and responding to incidents of challenging behaviour.
• Writing reports that may occur due to student’s behaviour
