We are seeking a self-motivated manager with a proven track record in programme and project management and/or funding applications or audit. As our Investment Appraisal Manager you will protect the Mayoral Combined Authority’s (MCA) interests in programmes and projects, by ensuring that the Assurance Framework is respected. This will include ensuring the assurance process is managed efficiently and effectively and that all assurance reviews are thoroughly conducted, in advance of key decision points or during key phases of a project, or programme.
This role will support the MCA to deliver its increasingly expanding investment programmes through leading the appraisal and assessments of funding applications based on the depth of your experience and specialist skills. In addition, the role will support the MCA in providing expert knowledge in aspects of capital project development and delivery or other significant investments.
You will already have experience of working in either a programme or project management role or funding application appraisal role, and being part of a team in a complex environment, experienced in managing programmes and projects involving multiple partners and stakeholders. You will be a persuasive and credible communicator with well-developed negotiating and presentation skills.
