The Hours: Annualised contract of 1950 hours a year (which is approx. 37.5 hours per week, 5 in 7 days). Hours are dependent on property opening times which vary over the year but includes 7 day opening during school holidays. Average shift pattern will be 9am – 5.30pm. (No Evenings & No Split Shifts). Weekend and bank holiday work required.

This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year

The Salary: £22,400 per annum

Duration: This is a permanent role which offers realistic salary progression based on annual reviews.

With your passion for food and your appetite to provide an exceptional service to your customers, you’ll work with the National Trust Cookbook framework to prepare delicious food. Using your creative skills, you’ll use local produce to develop dishes to inspire visitors with our spirit of place.

Interviews: This is an immediate start, interviews will be held by appointment on receiving applications.

You will receive a bespoke induction on appointment across a 2 month period based at Calke Abbey where your travel expenses will be covered - and further professional training & development opportunities are available. You will be asked to work across Derbyshire

• Qualified in food preparation and cooking to City & Guilds or NVQ L2 or equivalent.
