Are you ready for your next exciting challenge as a senior HR or Organisation Development professional?
Our client are seeking two highly motivated and enthusiastic Senior HR Business Partnersto work in partnership with leaders, senior management teams, and internal and external customers based in Barnsley. You will be working on a full time, permanent basis (37 hours per week) and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £44,624 - £47,665 per annum.
About the roles:
HR Specialist (full time, flexible working considered)
The first of these new roles will be an integrated HR & OD partner working with a specific group of senior customers to help them deliver on organisational priorities, providing support and challenge in equal measure.
OD Specialist (full time, flexible working considered)
The second role will focus on providing specialist OD support to the function and organisation, ensuring that high-quality interventions help achieve our client's challenging objectives.
Responsibilities as our client's Senior HR / OD Business Partners will involve:
- Leading and managing a team of professional staff in the delivery of a comprehensive People Services partner function Leading on the development and delivery of the People Strategy and Plan across designated areas of the Council, working as an integrated partner of senior management teams in support of the wider Council Plan Providing high-level specialist professional guidance on people management and/or organisational development issues Developing commercial service opportunities, identifying and maximising opportunities to access external funding and generate income from internal and external clients, ensuring that projected income is realised
Education and training our client are looking for in their Senior HR / OD Business Partners:
- A Level 7 apprenticeship, Advanced Diploma or equivalent in a related discipline A chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development or equivalent
Skills and experience our client are looking for in their Senior HR / OD Business Partners:
- Extensive generalist HR or OD experience, both at operational and strategic levels Experience of developing and implementing strategic people plans leading to lasting and meaningful change Significant experience of working at a senior level within Human Resources and/or Organisational Development with up to date knowledge of employment law and/or OD good practice Substantial knowledge of strategic organisational development, performance and skills frameworks in order to achieve successful outcomes
