We are looking to recruit an experienced, talented, energetic and inspiring athletics coach to lead and develop our year 7,8, 9 and 10 athletics squad. As part of this role you will need to coach challenging athletics sessions including both track, field and jump events. In addition you will need to arrange and attend school sporting fixtures.

Harris Academy Wimbledon is a new, co-educational school for the High Path area. Our new building, opened in November 2020, is an addition to the regeneration of the High Path area.

Main Areas of Responsibility

You will be responsible for arranging your own team fixtures and paid extra for any fixtures that take place outside of the set coaching hours. You will need to be responsible, reliable and punctual and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications & Experience

Candidates will need to have a minimum of British Athletics, Athletics Coach qualification and have held a valid UK driving license for a minimum of 3 years. Prior experience successfully coaching mixed ability children aged 11+. You should have a passion for teaching young people and be excited by the prospect of working towards meets and hosting athletics events.

Successful candidates will complete the Midas minibus qualification, as part of staff training.
