Are you a knowledgeable Pharmacist, looking for a new challenge?
About the role
Our client is looking for an experienced Pharmacist (ideally someone who has worked at Band 7 of Band 8a level) to join them on a full-time basis for a period of 3 months initially. You’ll review their current practises and processes as well as implement new ones regarding administering, storing and ordering medication. They need someone who can carry out research on drugs, write up notes and make recommendations. You’ll be working closely with their multi-disciplinary teams including Nurses, Care Managers and Support
Workers to embed good practise and assist with training and support.
They’re looking for someone who can start as soon as possible to initially project manage the transition of their children’s services to printed MARS and then to work flexibility (approx. 2/3 days a month) to give advice and support to their Heads of Nursing. The role will be mostly based on site and at times you will be required to stay later to liaise with their night staff so a degree of flexibility will be required, however this can be explored and discussed during the interview process.
About You
You will hold a Degree in Pharmacy and will be a member of the General Pharmaceutical Council. You will be an experienced and knowledgeable practitioner with a good understanding of legislation and regulations governing pharmaceutical practice. You will have excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to liaise with colleagues, stakeholders and families.

They are situated in 60 acres of Hertfordshire countryside between Harlow and Bishop’s Stortford. They support people with Epilepsy and other complex needs in their Children’s Homes, School, College, Residential Homes with Nursing and Day Centre.
