About Our Client
Our client is a social enterprise that provides a range of integration and support services for refugees. They have grown from a small-scale housing organisation to a provider of integration, employment and housing services for refugees and newly arrived communities in the UK.
Through their training subsidiary, they are successfully expanding their services to deliver training, development and employment opportunities to the broader communities in which they operate.
They are currently looking for a Support Team Leader to join their team on a full-time basis.

You will be helping to provide tailored integration services that not only help individuals but also that disrupt the systems that have entrenched inequalities in our society.

The Role
As a Support Team Leader, you will lead and motivate a team to provide resettlement services and support for refugees who are using our client’s housing services.
Developing resettlement packages to meet the needs of each tenant, you will focus on their strengths and aspirations and will focus on matching these to available opportunities.
You will also provide support, guidance and training to local staff, facilitating you to plan and implement involvement initiatives that will lead you to meet KPIs.
Additionally, you will:
- Ensure that staff are providing excellent standards of support and involvement activities
- Plan weekly rotas, referrals, interviews and resident activities
- Line manage the staff team and act as the first point of contact for them
- Work with the Housing Income Team to develop additional elements to tenancy agreements to make sure tenancies are being maintained
- Support cultural and corporate change by raising awareness of involvement activities
- Maintain an excellent standard of safeguarding practice and awareness
- Ensure support plans and risk assessments are reviewed, evaluated and updated regularly
