Salary: £56,721- £83,971 per annum

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join Bath and Wells Multi Academy Trust, in this pivotal role.

We are seeking an inspirational individual who will lead the strategic financial and operational aspects of the Trust, supporting the CEO in implementing a sustainable business strategy and long-term financial plan.

Our Trust was established in 2012 and includes 34 schools that range in size from 115 to 460 pupils and cover the 0-11 age range. These schools are clustered into four geographical hubs in North Somerset, Bath, Taunton and South Somerset. Our driving force is to ensure every school within our Trust provides an outstanding education for every child, enhanced by a distinctively Christian ethos.

Delivering operational rigour and strategic direction, the Chief Finance Officer will play an integral role in further growing and developing the Trust and ensuring it continues to be financially sustainable. The role will continue to build and embed a culture focused on working collaboratively, with an emphasis on business partnership to maximise the best financial outcomes for our schools.

You will be able to demonstrate significant financial leadership experience in a public sector or not-for-profit environment and be an effective decision maker with the ability to influence, inspire and motivate those around you.
