Location: Hybrid (Split between home and the Sheffield Head Office near Meadowhall)
Salary: £25,000 per annum
We are looking for an Employment Law / HR Consultant to join our growing employment law and HR team.

The Role
Our Employment Law and HR Consultants help small and medium-sized businesses across the UK get their employment law right. From drafting contracts to advising on disciplinary issues, training and development, dismissals and much more, we make sure that our clients are able to properly manage their employees to improve recruitment and retention, reduce risks and costs and focus on building their businesses.
You will be part of a small, friendly and hardworking team that has the support of a wider Group including Gillian McAteer, Head of Employment Law for Citation who regularly appears on national TV and radio commenting on the latest legal developments in our area.
You will be required to:
* Provide advice and support to potential and existing clients through verbal and written communications (telephone, email, written reports etc)
* Prepare employment contracts, HR policies & procedures and HR letters/forms for new and existing clients
* To support EL Direct Ltd clients in the achievement of accreditations, tenders and PQQ's in relation to employment law and HR issues
* Keeping company and client policies up to date in accordance with regulatory changes
* To provide mentoring assistance and support to other team members as required and appropriate
* To maintain, keep up to date and manage own level of professional knowledge
* To carry out site visits to clients to undertake the following: Disciplinary Representations, Chairing Employee Mediation, Human Resources Training, On-Site Document Writing and other Employment Law related consultancy services
The Person
The right person will have
* Experience in employment law casework or HR management
* Background Employment Law legislative knowledge i.e. undergraduate degree in Law, CIPD qualification in HR management (lever 5 or higher) or equivalent
* Excellent people and communication skills
* Flexible and practical approach to problem-solving
* High level of attention to detail in written work
* Ability to be able to prioritise workload
