Hampshire County Council is the Lead Local Flood Authority for Hampshire. You will work in the Flood and Water Management team (FWM) flexibly based in the Winchester offices and working from home. The main task of this role is to provide technical Surface Water Management (SWM) and Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) advice to local planning authorities for SWM planning consultations and Ordinary Watercourse Consents (OWCs).
You will also be involved in a wider range of technical, administrative and management activities including provision of Flood Risk Management guidance, Flood Alleviation Schemes and Flood investigations.
This opportunity is advertised as full-time, however we are also happy to consider applications from people wanting to work on a part-time basis.
