Salary: Up to £30,000
Location: Blackburn
Contract & Hours: Full time, permanent

If you're a dedicated and passionate fundraiser with a commitment to supporting young people, please read on!

Charity People is thrilled to be working with a fantastic charity based in Blackburn in their search for a new Relationship Fundraiser with a special focus on Corporate, Major Donor and Community fundraising initiatives.

About the charity:
The charity is a youth hub located in the heart of the local area, open to young people aged between 5 and 19 years old, aiming to change the prospects offered to young people across the local region. Uniquely, this charity's ethos means that, rather than acting on behalf of young people, they are working partnership with them to enhance their prospects; best summarised in their core principle of 'starting where young people are, going where young people take us!'

About the role:
This exciting new opportunity will see you in a leading strategic role to increase and maintain income. You will focus on relationships with corporates and high net worth individuals, overseeing brilliant stewardship as well as securing new partnerships. You will focus on growing income from SME's, third party events, community groups, schools, and individual giving income streams. You'll be excellent at building
relationships, be creative in your approach and excited by the opportunity to manage several fundraising programmes at the same time.

About you:
You'll demonstrate a clear commitment to working with young people; have strong organisational and time-management skills.

Ideally you will have a track record in bringing in income from corporates and community groups. You'll be brilliant at building sustainable relationship with individuals and be confident in digital fundraising practices.

If you would like to apply, please get in touch with Ellen Drummond at Charity People by sending a copy of your CV or profile for lots more information.

Deadline: Recruitment for this role will be on a rolling basis so if you're interested please do get in touch ASAP.
