Description

Senior Philanthropy Manager

Charity People is thrilled to be heading up the search for a leading national Homelessness charity to find a collaborative, engaging and influential individual to join the team as Senior Philanthropy Manager. This charity strives to enact significant change across the whole society as well as leading the way to securing safe homes nationally, and protecting people from bad housing conditions, soaring rents, discrimination, and the threat of eviction.

Salary: £42,829
Location: Homebased anywhere in Scotland (with meaningful travel required)
Permanent, Full-time (very happy to discuss any flexible working requests)

About the role:
With an emphasis on growing a warm donor base and forging new high value donor relationships, you will bring fresh ideas to how this impactful charity can build its pipeline of HNWIs.

Working collaboratively with the wider Philanthropy and High Value Events Team, the Senior Philanthropy Manager will inspire donors to pledge support by delivering world class supporter experience, bringing donors closer to their work than ever before, through creative proposals and excellent stewardship.

You'll be joining at a pivotal time for the organisation, as they develop their ambitious plans to shape fundraising appeals - which you'll play a central role in creating. There will lots of internal stakeholder work to do and loads of collaboration across the organisation making you and your donors feel immersed in the impactful work that is happening.
Working as part of a super successful philanthropy team, you'll also be supported by an experienced, energetic fundraising team and colleagues in front line services, campaigns, and finance.

About you:
* Proven track record of soliciting five and six figure donations from high-net-worth individuals or working with high-net-worth clients in a private sector role.
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with a confident approach to donor management and strong experience building and managing relationships with high-level stakeholders.
* Motivated by the vision that everyone should have access to secure housing and being able to generate support for those impacted by bad housing and homelessness.
* You're ambitious and excited by growing income

We'd love you to have previous experience in Philanthropy and High Value client management, ideally working on 6 figure portfolios but we're also really open to conversations with candidates perhaps looking to transition income streams, or a talented commercial candidate with experience of high-value relationship management
