Are you a HR Advisor with experience of working in the non-profit sector? Are you looking for fixed term contract HR Advisor job offering hybrid working?

I am working exclusively with an educational charity that help tackles educational disadvantage across the UK. They help teachers and school leaders to keep developing through training and support to become experts over time. Their aim is to make sure every child gets a great education and the best possible start in life.

This generalist HR Advisor job paying £32,000 + £3,000 London weighting (if applicable) can be based from any of their London, Manchester or Birmingham offices. You will play a key role within the HR team over the next 6-months along with working on a number interesting HR projects. The HR Advisor will be part of a small but friendly HR team, where you will be required to work from the office 1-day per week.

The key duties of this HR role include:

  • Providing expert HR advice on disciplinary, grievances, absence management, escalating issues as appropriate.
  • Working with hiring managers to deliver high touch/high quality recruitment and on-boarding.
  • Contributing to reviewing of policies, processes and procedures ensuring that all aligned with their mission and values.
  • Working with the HR Team and the Staff Development and Communications Team to promote a culture of high performance.
  • Engaging with their equality, diversity and inclusion aspirations and role model their inclusive values.
  • Supporting and leading on various HR projects as directed by senior HR leads

This HR Advisor job will suit someone who is passionate about both HR and the non-profit sector. The post holder will need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with all areas of the organisation.
