Description
We’re bigger than you think, we’re more complicated than we appear and we’re larger scale than you’d imagine. We’ve got passionate people in all our teams, and we’ve got so much more we want to achieve. The National Trust Consultancy is a multidisciplinary team of experts - a flexible and deployable resource of specialist skills and experience in every field of our work. Our purpose is to deliver the Trust’s Strategy by providing a great service to properties and collaborating across boundaries to make things happen.
As this role will involve working on projects across the North, Wales, and Midlands & East of England regions, you may occasionally need to spend time working at Trust properties across the regions and countries. Although your contractual location will be one of our regional hubs there will be an opportunity to explore and agree hybrid working arrangements which strike the right balance for you and the Trust.
What you'll be doing
The successful candidate will be supporting the Programme Manager and Project Managers in delivering construction and compliance projects. Activities will include data management and sharing, stakeholder engagement, project reporting, and supporting procurement.
As a programme team we will be working with a broad range of external stakeholders and internal specialists, so confidence with working across all levels of seniority is a must.
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of supporting programmes or multiple projects.
We will shortlist based on the following criteria:
- You will have good people and stakeholder management skills with an ability to create and maintain strong working relationships.
- You will have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- You will have knowledge of budget reporting and be able to collate, analyse, and prepare data for reporting purposes.
- You will be able to multi-task and to successfully handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
- The ability to work well both in a team and on your own initiative.
