A large, Ofsted-graded "Good" academy 15 minutes outside of the vibrant city of Bristol are looking for a Trainee Physics Teacher to join their close-knit team. Not only is the school a modern location in which to train, the school has great experience in delivering Initial Teacher Training.

In addition to this, a Trainee Physics Teacher will be paid in line with an unqualified teacher which is £18,419 and there are no course fees involved, meaning you can focus on your training and your students rather than covering your costs.
Entry Requirements for a Trainee Physics Teacher:
- Completed a Bachelor of Honours in Physics or a related field (preferably a 2.1 or above)
- GCSEs C(5) or above in English and Maths (or equivalent)
- Have to ordinarily been a UK resident for the last 3 years or longer (ESSENTIAL TO MEET ESFA FUNDING RULES)
- A commitment to make a difference and the ability to inspire and motivate
- Previous experience working with young people is desirable
- The ability to support, challenge and inspire students particularly those who may find English, Language or Literature challenging
- A strong classroom presence to achieve high levels of student engagement
As this position is for a teaching position and involves working with children all candidates will be subject to safeguarding checks at the point of progression.
