In addition to this, a Trainee English Teacher will be paid in line with an unqualified teacher which is £18,419 and there are no course fees involved, meaning you can focus on your training and your students rather than covering your costs. Entry Requirements for a Trainee English Teacher:

· Completed a Bachelor of Honours in English or a relevant field (preferably a 2.1 or above)

· Must be a UK Resident for the past 3 years (Rules for Apprenticeship Funding)

· GCSE’s C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent)

· A commitment to make a difference and the ability to inspire and motivate

· Previous experience working with young people is desirable

· The ability to support, care for and truly embodies the ethos that "every child matters" and wants the best opportunities for their students

· A strong classroom presence to achieve high levels of student engagement
