Greenpeace is an international non-profit global campaigning organisation. Our independence and global reach enable us to stand for positive change through action in order to defend nature and promote peace. We investigate and expose global environmental problems, confront those in positions of power and present alternative solutions.
As Key Influencer Programme Manager within the Key Relationships department, you’ll have responsibility for developing strategic collaborations between Greenpeace and artists, actors and other celebrities who have significant media profiles/social media followings in support of our campaigns, fundraising and other organisational objectives.
You’ll be expected to deliver high-profile, creative and exciting collaborations with Key Influencers (KIs), to maintain strong relationships with our KI network, and to find and approach potential new collaborators. Managing interns, freelance support and agency contractors as and when appropriate and available, you’ll also engage with key colleagues around the organisation to advise on the best strategic use of KIs.
The role is based in our London office. As we progress to a hybrid working model, you may have flexibility to work from home but will need to commute into our Islington head office on a regular basis.
Requirements You'll have:
- Relevant experience working with KIs, delivering high impact KI collaborations and creating individual KI supporter journeys, strategies and stewardship plans that build retention, deepen engagement and communicate impact.
- Deep understanding of relationship management, with proven ability to develop and deliver successful proposals and ‘asks’ by mail, email, telephone and face-to-face.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills, including the ability to write compelling content.
- Ability to work on your own initiative but also to prioritise, project manage and oversee the work of others.
- A commitment to Greenpeace’s aims and objectives and a passion for communicating our messages.
We give you: You’ll be encouraged to develop both personally and professionally, taking advantage of the wide range of learning and development opportunities available to our staff. We offer great benefits such as a generous pension scheme, subsidised lunches, free yoga and a wealth of well-being resources, just to name a few. Take a look at our Work for Greenpeace pages to find out more about what it’s like to work for us and why you should apply.
