Description

We are looking for a Head of Marketing – South Bank to join our Marketing department.

The Head of Marketing (South Bank) leads one of three Marketing teams that sit within Audiences & Media; this directorate also encompasses Box Office, Digital Media (National Theatre at Home, NT Live and the Content Production Studio), Press, Communications, the Data Studio and the Graphic Design Studio.

Working with the Deputy Director of Marketing & Sales, the individual will collaborate with teams from across South Bank operations to execute impactful and engaging audience communications to drive sales, engagement and reach, through a combination of nurturing the existing customer base while also growing a diverse range of new audiences.

The role works working closely to support other key business areas including Learning, Access, Development (corporate partnerships) and Enterprises (food and drink, retail).

The successful candidate will have:

  • Substantial experience at a senior level of marketing ticketed events, ideally within the arts, heritage and/or live entertainment sectors
  • Proven experience in planning and implementing effective marketing campaigns that deliver against their commercial targets.
  • Extensive experience working collaboratively with a range of creative stakeholders (e.g. writers, directors, producers).
  • Demonstrable experience in using sales data, performance marketing metrics and audience insights to inform decision-making, optimise campaigns and measure impact.
  • Experience of line managing multiple members of a team in the workplace.
