The starting salary for this role is £45,734 per annum for working 36 hours per week.

Surrey Heartlands CCG and Surrey County Council are seeking an experienced commissioner and strategic thinker to join our Integrated Children’s Commissioning Team. The role will have a pivotal part to play in shaping and delivering services for children and young people in the community with partners in Health, Education and Social Care.

As a Commissioning Manager, you will work with a broad range of children’s community health and care services. You will be responsible for redesigning models of delivery that support children and young people to reach their aspirations.

To be shortlisted to interview for this position your application will clearly evidence the ability to:

  • Think strategically
  • Lead a team
  • Deliver high quality outcomes for children through effective commissioning
  • Work within teams across multiple organisations
  • Work collaboratively with partners across the county
  • And be compassionate

The post holder will be an integral member of a Directorate that works across health and social care children’s commissioning in Surrey. The role promises a varied portfolio that will enhance developing careers within a supportive and enthusiastic team.
