We are seeking an exceptional Trainer Assessor to join our high performing, work-based learning clinical health team based in Taunton, Somerset. Working in partnership with employer stakeholders across the region, the college are strategically supporting ongoing development of the health and care workforce to ensure it is fit for the future.
The ideal candidate will be future thinking, have strong industry experience, vocational knowledge and an enthusiastic and adaptable approach to delivering innovative education. To join our dedicated team, you will understand the current and future challenges in this sector and be confident in delivering a curriculum that prepares students for a career in clinical health care, including allied health professions. You will have a strong commitment to quality, be student focused and a team player.
Candidates must have a minimum of a level 3 qualification in a clinical health related discipline with clinical healthcare experience. Knowledge and experience of teaching, assessing and quality assuring vocational programmes will also be advantageous, but training can be given for these aspects. The successful candidate will be a flexible, customer focussed proactive problem solver with a good working knowledge understanding of IT.
