Our client is a small but growing IFA firm based in Leith. They are looking for an experienced Financial Services Administrator (Full Time) to join their busy office.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years’ experience gained by working in an IFA office, or an investment or insurance company.
You must have a basic understanding of the financial services industry, appreciate the difference between WRAP platforms, and have an awareness of investments. Our client's aim is that you will work with their paraplanners, and develop the ability to write reports under the supervision and guidance of their Financial Advisers.
You will cover all aspects of the financial planning and no two days will ever be the same. You will need the ability to react to situations, input data accurately and quickly. Currently working a mixture of home and office although we will be looking to return to the office in the future. Longer term flexible working arrangements are available with suitable technology to allow home working.
The Job
- Data input into our client's back office system, as well as systems of insurance companies and other platforms
- Carrying out research using various systems
- Writing recommendation reports for review by the client
- Interaction with clients via phone, letter, email, etc
- Interaction with insurance companies and platforms to generate appropriate information
- Investment Research
- Pension Research
Key Requirements
- Ability to input data into online systems
- Experience of dealing with clients via phone, letter, email, etc
- Be able to work unsupervised
- Be able to follow the company systems and processes
Benefits
Salary will be dependent on your experience, but will be in the range of £20,000 to £25,000.
The Company will also provide a contributory pension, private medical cover, and life cover (all after completion of a probation period).
The company is willing to consider a job share. Currently you will be required to work between home and the office although the company is looking to return to the office in the future, when there will be an option for flexible working.
