Horizon Teachers are working with a number of Special Educational Needs Provisions in and around the Camden area who are seeking Learning Support Assistants for the new academic year. Students supported range from 3 years to 18. We have opportunities across Primary and Secondary age groups. The roles available range from 1:1 support as well as full class support and group intervention. All roles have the potential to become permanent, with opportunities for flexible day-2- day also. All roles will involve working with a range of SEN needs including but not limited to; ADHD, Autism, Complex Learning, SEMH, PMLD.
Horizon Teachers are keen to speak to candidates who have a background in care or community work, have you worked with adults or children with complex needs and would like to transition into education? This could be the role for you!
Experienced Learning Support Assistants are also encouraged to apply. A formal qualification is not required for this role but a passion for working with students with Special Educational Needs is essential.
