This is an exciting time for you to join the London Film School as the Head of HR. During this period of change, as LFS renews is strategy under the leadership of a new Director (currently being recruited), you will take responsibility for all HR activity and overseeing effective administration of HR processes, leading on the people strategy, policies and procedures. This will include providing advice to managers to ensure legislative compliance and best practice on recruitment, people development, employee relations, performance management and training. As part of the Management Team, the Head of HR will lead on culture, staff engagement, training and development, policy development, diversity and inclusion, reward, implementing change programmes and managing staffing projects.

The successful candidate will lead and develop the HR systems, processes and policies to ensure the effective administration of HR, in line with relevant legislation and statutory compliance and promote commitment to learning and development amongst managers and staff. You will also ensure Diversity and Inclusion is at the forefront of your thinking when undertaking your responsibilities and promote an inclusive culture across the organisation.

If you are a strategic thinker, who is also prepared to roll up your sleeves and lead on operational HR matters and be a key part of change, we would love to hear from you. You will ideally have experience leading a small HR team or standalone HR function and an HRM qualification is desirable, although equivalent HR experience will also be taken into account.
