As part of the Apollo Sheeter Operator role you will be working within a small team, co-ordinating operations to ensure quick order change overs, excellent levels of quality while ensuring the high standards of Health & Safety and housekeeping are maintained.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Operating an Apollo Sheeter.
- Correct setting techniques following standard operating procedures.
- Organising Reels and storage areas (Clamp truck training provided after trial period).
- Ensuring the high standards of Health & Safety are maintained at all times.
- Weekly operator maintenance.
- Work in accordance with sites quality & compliance certifications.
The standard working hours for this role are rotating double days Monday to Friday.
The ideal candidate will be:
- A team player willing to learn new skills, previous experience as a machine operator in the print & packaging industry would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given.
- Someone who has a good attention to detail and be methodical in their approach.
- Someone keen to work with the business with a view that we will be better today than yesterday, willing to work with the wider team to find improvements supporting our continued focus in safety, machine quality, reliability and efficiency levels through high levels of team engagement.
