Apprenticeship Outcomes Manager
Full time (35 hrs/wk), permanent
Split place of work between Horizons (Reading, Berkshire) and Home
Salary £33,000 - £37,500 FTE pa plus benefits
We’re looking for a passionate professional with experience of line management and engaging apprenticeship students to help them achieve success!
University College of Estate Management (UCEM) is a long-standing and leading provider of supported online education. We exist to provide accessible, relevant and cost-effective education which enhances careers, increases professionalism and leads to a better Built Environment; we are also very passionate about sustainability. Operating from the UK and Hong Kong we have a global reach, and at any one time over 3,500 students are studying online with us. UCEM passed its first ever inspection by Ofsted with flying colours after earning an overall rating of ‘Good’ in November 2021.
You will join our fast paced and supportive apprenticeships team to lead, manage and continuously improve the success of UCEM’s apprenticeships programmes, working with your team of Apprenticeship Outcomes Officers to support our learners throughout their apprenticeship journey. You will meet/exceed employer sponsor needs and motivate and engage apprentices to enable them progress and drive successful outcomes.
Key qualities we are looking for:
- Level 2 Maths and English at Grade C or 4 or higher, or the willingness and ability to achieve these within six months of appointment Experience Monitoring and reviewing learner/apprentice progress Excellent communication skills – written and verbal Experience Leading and managing a team Ability to work flexibly and adapt readily to changing circumstances Knowledge of apprenticeship funding methodologies and funding rule requirements
