Based in Hertfordshire, this well known retail brand owns two of the UK's most loved high street jewellery chains. With 350 UK stores, as well as operations in the US, Ireland and Channel Islands, they are at the top of their game! They are now looking to accelerate their transition to becoming a digital first retailer.
THE ROLE
The Online Visual Merchandiser will play a pivotal role in creating a seamless online customer experience. You will be responsible for ensuring that the site merchandising of banner content, promotions and search results are executed accurately, commercially and on time, to maximise sales and conversion.
You will be:
- Implementing website refreshes, including banners, landing pages and brand pages
- Setting up offers and promotions, checking links and testing pre and post go-live
- Signing off terms and conditions with the legal team and regularly updating promotional content pages
- Coordinating with external brands to ensure the site has the most up to date assets
- Regularly reviewing search analytics and putting in place necessary re-directs
- Actively monitoring and optimising search results pages to display the most commercial, relevant and customer-friendly results
- Regularly monitoring availability and making recommendations to maximise sales
- Completing competitor analysis and feedback on opportunities and activity
- Conducting regular UAT testing
YOU
The ideal applicant for this Online Visual Merchandiser role will have:
- Demonstrable working knowledge of online merchandising processes, procedures and systems
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics / Adobe and Microsoft Excel
- Commercial awareness with a sales focus to maximise conversion and cross-selling
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Customer focused and data-centric approach
Experience of HTML coding is also desirable.
This role would be initially based in Borehamwood, relocating to Watford in Summer 2022, so you will need to be happy travelling to those locations 2 days per week.
