Our client is looking for Sewing Machinists to join their growing Manufacturing team on a Permanent basis, working 40.0 Hours per Week. They have a full training programme available so no need to worry if you don't have previous experience they can teach you everything you need to know
Sewing Machinist Responsibilities
As a Sewing Machinist you will learn to sew a wide variety of sofa designs, using a range of luxury fabrics. Your contribution to the handmade journey of their sofas is critical, with each stitch you sew a little love into their products.
On occasion you may be required to assist in other areas of production for example pre-sew, service machining, sewing inspection.
They're looking for people who are passionate about doing a great job, ready to get stuck in and be part of a team. You don’t need to have previous furniture making or manufacturing experience, They will teach you everything you need to know - on the job, so you can earn while you learn.

What you can bring to the role of a Sewing Machinist
- Experience of lockstitch, overlock and zipping (desirable)
- Bags of enthusiasm and a key interest in learning a new skill.

Location: Northern Uph, Doncaster, DN6 7DB
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full Time. 40 hours per week, permanent late shift.
They operate their factories on two shifts. The early shift works Monday to Friday 5.30am to 1.50pm and the late shift works Monday to Thursday 2.10pm to 12.30am.
Salary: Training rates £9.50 - £12.50 dependant on experience and from £14 per hour on piecework
