There is a secondary school based in Croydon seeking a Behaviour Mentor to join their team in September. The school caters for children who have a diagnosis of ASC and related challenging behaviour.
The school aim to provide a nurturing and structured, calm learning environment which supports their pupils to develop self-belief and a positive attitude towards learning. They believe that children who have autism can learn, make progress and succeed with committed and knowledgeable good autism practice.

The role
- Carrying out behaviour management in line with the school's policies and procedures
- Supporting pupils inside and outside the classroom.
- Accompanying and supporting students with their academic and personal development.
- Being proactive in the class to ensure your learning support is tailored to each child's individual need.
- Supporting a mixed class of students aged 12 -16 (KS3 & KS4).
