Finance Manager (3/4 day week), Engineering Consultancy, central London

Varied, dynamic management accounting role in a growing Consultancy based in central London (with hybrid working). With a growing client base and acquisitions on the horizon the FD requires an experienced hand to deliver all monthly and quarterly financial and management reporting. The business is part of a large German Group, so even though a contract there are long-term opportunities within the Group. Previous management experience isn’t essential but there will also be scope to lead the small AP/AR team once the contract is underway.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management accounts Manage Work in Progress by Project Responsibility for posting/reviewing monthly accruals and prepayments Ad hoc assistance to Project teams with the financial elements of Projects Quarterly VAT report preparation Monthly timesheet reporting Occasional support to AP and AR transactional processing at month end Support with Ad hoc projects as required Pro-active process improvement

Skills & Requirements:

• ACA, CIMA or ACCA Qualified Experience of delivering monthly P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow reporting Ideally prior experience within professional services Good people skills, with a desire to integrate with the business Interested in supporting on projects to develop other skills
