Description
We are working in partnership with Viva, who are dedicated to changing more children’s lives to fulfil their God-given potential through building and supporting networks of grassroots churches and organisations to protect and provide for children.
We are seeking a creative Chief Executive to provide strategic oversight, leadership and to work collaboratively across the growing global network.
The Chief Executive has overall responsibility for leading the organisation and uniting all of Viva’s employees and stakeholders behind a shared vision that will enable the network partners to help children at risk move beyond situations of vulnerability, poverty and abuse in order to have the opportunity to live life in its fullness.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:
- Significant experience operating strategically within the charity sector
- A sense of calling to the vision and mission of Viva
- A track record of building successful relationships and partnerships globally
- A consultative approach to leadership with good coaching and mentoring skills
- Experience of advising, reporting to and working with a Board
- Ability to work under pressure and flexible in attitude
We are seeking an individual who will lead by example, giving committed, consistent, energetic and servant-orientated leadership to the organisation. The successful candidate will be able to uphold and promote Viva’s ethos and values internally and externally by articulating how their faith is core to the identity and operations of the charity.
