Community Safety Engagement Manager
PO7: £53,490 pa inc LW rising in annual increments to £56,640 pa
Secondment/Fixed Term: 2 Years
The Community Safety engagement manager will play a vital role in Lambeth’s vision for a safer borough. The successful role holder will act as our lead officer in engaging our local communities to work in partnership with local residents and community groups to design solutions and respond to local community safety concerns with a range of partners and services.
The role will be responsible for responsible for building, leading and developing community engagement programme, Lambeth Made Communities to ensure it delivers its aim to build community resilience, improve community safety, and reduce violence.
The ideal candidate will have a real passion and will be someone with appropriate experience in engaging and working with diverse communities to deliver shared outcomes. This is a senior role with the postholder having the confidence and credibility to work with multiple stakeholders to meet the needs and expectations of a diverse borough.
