We are looking for a highly skilled and enthusiastic RE practitioner who will excite children about their subject and support the team in driving this emerging ‘School of RE’ to be the very best.

Our Lady and St Chad Catholic Academy is Ofsted rated Good (2018) and is part of St Francis and St Clare Catholic Multi Academy Company, providing quality education for children aged 3-18.

The Academy has recently completed significant building expansion to support the rising popularity of the school and is underpinned by values; Truth, Justice, Charity, Forgiveness, Respect and Peace.
Staff and students are friendly and commit to being ‘Strong alone, unstoppable together’.

The Department

The ethos of the school and department is deeply rooted in the Catholic mission in education. Leadership, outcomes and provision in RE are all judged to be good (Section 28, July 2018). The successful candidate will have an excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and will be able to plan innovative and engaging lessons that will meet the needs of children with a variety of abilities.
