We have built strong foundations for our safeguarding partnership arrangements and the post holder will lead on the continuous development of these arrangements and championing improved impact and outcomes. You will also play a key role in developing and supporting broader partnerships, for example in respect of early help and youth services and services for young people with SEN and disabilities.

To be successful in your application, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Previous experience of working in a children’s safeguarding partnership/board and an understanding of child safeguarding processes such as serious case reviews.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to lead and coordinate multi-agency work groups to deliver priorities.
