Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full Time 35 hours per week

The Role
You will support the Finance Manager in all areas of financial management during a very exciting time of change and development for the team. You will be taking on some of the operational responsibilities to enable a general review of processes and efficiencies, whilst also using your experience to be involved with aspects of the review and provide support to inform the ultimate changes.
Your role will include ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of all financial records, ensuring all income and liabilities are accurately recorded, reconciled and reviewed. You will also take the lead on the financial planning and management for the organisation, two trading subsidiaries and a joint venture.
To be shortlisted for this post, you must have:
- Full Accountancy Qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
- Strong understanding and working knowledge of accounts, creation of management accounts and reporting, as well as audit preparation
- Ability in leading on financial planning and management.
- Proven ability to build relationships with budget holders and strong knowledge of budgeting and forecasting best practice.
- Strong understanding and working knowledge of accounting within the not-for-profit sector and/ or a commercial environment.
Experience working in the Membership Sector would be advantageous.
