Description
Charity People are so thrilled to be working with a wonderful children's charity to find a Community Fundraiser to join their busy and successful Fundraising team.
This amazing organisation is based in Salford, dedicated to finding new treatments for all children diagnosed with cancer. To achieve their vision; "a world where every single child diagnosed with cancer can both survive and thrive", they invest in research across the UK to develop new drug delivery systems, finding the next targeted treatments or improve already existing treatments, as well as raising awareness of childhood cancer in the community.
As the Community Fundraiser, you'll be maintaining and developing the community pipeline. You'll plan and deliver bespoke supporter journeys, research and approach new funding prospects, such as community groups and universities, as well as organise and manage national events and challenges. Working closely with the Marketing Manager, you will develop lead generation campaigns to manage and deliver income from community fundraising.
With a passion for cancer research, you will be an experienced Community Fundraising professional, with a great understanding of Manchester and Salford's key groups and networks to help maintain and generate income for this organisation.
Salary: £26,000
