ABOUT THE ROLE
Day-to-day activities will include:
Supporting the Head of Digital and CEO in completing agreed activities
Help build the brands and support brand positioning
Creating and posting blog posts and articles on the company’s website and social media pages
Preparing coherent marketing campaign reports using data analysis tools
Managing the marketing database and email distribution
Drafting marketing materials such as newsletters, case studies and whitepapers
Monitoring competitor activities and finding leads for the company
Liaising with other team members, internal stakeholders and creative agencies
Identifying and using KPIs to evaluate web performance with a view to continual improvement
IDEAL CANDIDATE
At least 6 months of marketing experience, preferably B2B
A passion for and knowledge of the environment and sustainability sector, ideally having worked within it
Solid SEO and SEM knowledge on the dynamics of SEO, along with insights on optimising all forms of content for the sites and for running any digital marketing campaigns (PPC etc) Ideally with proven, measurable and demonstrable results
Data-driven
Great writing skills
Good understanding of key marketing principles (customer journeys, personas, creative judgement, brand proposition development)
Strong commercial focus both in terms of managing costs and driving sales
An entrepreneurial spirit, the capability to deal with a dynamic business with frequently changing priorities
Must be able to work using own initiative, have a positive attitude and be a team player
Applicants must have the authorisation to work in the UK by the start of their employment.

The Digital Marketing team manages the brand positioning, content planning, marketing activities, PR and advertising campaigns via the digital channels, paid search and partners. The marketing team is currently working on building and establishing the platform as a leading brand, creating copy and visuals to demonstrate to the target audience what they do and what they stand for and to help generate leads for the sales team.
