Our client is the independent charity that looks after six of the most wonderful palaces in the world.
Departments: Retail Operations
Location: Croydon Warehouse - Stafford Cross Industrial Estate, Croydon, CR0 4TU
Status: Temporary/Seasonal
Salary: £22,390 (plus AHS allowance 4 hours) per annum
Days/Hours of work: Your hours of work will be from 7.00 am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday
About the role
Full time 40 hours, seasonal
Their small, friendly, and dedicated warehouse team provide an essential support service to their retail shops and ecommerce business located in these iconic landmarks in and around London and Northern Ireland.
As a Warehouse Assistant, you will work as part of a close team to help ensure their ecommerce business is running smoothly over the busy Summer trading period. You will assist with picking and packing for e-commerce orders, together with any general housekeeping. It will also see you completing some basic admin associated with this task, answering queries, and alerting the warehouse manager to any problems so that they can be quickly solved.
About you
Applicants should be educated to GCSE or equivalent level, with basic PC skills. The ability to demonstrate competence in both accuracy and numeracy will also be a key requirement. Good communication, both written and spoken, will be essential and previous warehouse experience would be an advantage. You should work well under pressure and be calm and flexible in your approach and work well as part of a team.
