Description

We have an opportunity for a Registered General Nurse to work at a primary care unit located at cat B men's prison. Long term contract. Monday to Friday 37.5 hrs/week, full and part time hour available.

About the role

You will be expected to deliver a comprehensive medical service to the male inmates such as:

to carry out health assessments,

to make any necessary referrals needed,

wounds assessment and treatment,

to maintaining care plans and documenting care.

to run clinics which manage prisoners with long term conditions.

What you'll need to succeed

Valid NMC registration is required

Prison clearance is desirable but not necessary
