Description
The Role
As our Digital Content Editor, you will focus on producing engaging, relevant, tailored, consistent and compelling digital content that is shared across a range of channels.
You will join a creative team in a fast-paced environment that places our members at the heart of what we do.
As part of your role, you will support the implementation of a cross-organisational content strategy that increases member awareness, engagement and satisfaction.
You will create (or commission) high-quality content, driven by insights from members. This includes producing engaging, topical and relevant stories that add value for different segments of the membership and are delivered in a variety of formats (including written, video, animation and graphics).
In addition, you will publish content to the Law Society's website and digital channels, and use website traffic and behavioural analytics reporting tools to monitor and act on engagement metrics.
What we're looking for
To be successful, you will need to demonstrate excellent editing, written and verbal communication skills.
You must be able to quickly understand complex or technical issues and translate that into engaging and easy to understand communications in a variety of formats.
You must have experience using content management systems and the ability to adapt to new ones, as well as experience using web traffic and behavioural analytics tools.
Above all, as a person you'll be highly collaborative with the ability to work with colleagues at all levels across the organisation.
You'll be self-motivated, proactive, positive and comfortable working in a changing environment, with an organised, flexible and adaptable approach to work.
What's in it for you
We offer hybrid working options, a generous flexible benefits package, a friendly working environment and the opportunity to develop your career within a professional organisation.
We believe in the benefits of a diverse workforce and strongly welcome applications from those currently under-represented in the organisation, including LGBT+ people, people with disabilities and people from Black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds.
Please note: if you are an internal applicant, Pay Policy will apply.
To apply, please submit a CV and supporting statement (no more than 500 words) clearly demonstrating how you meet the requirements of the role.
